Shop Technician

Kodiak Roofing & Waterproofing is looking for a dependable and safety-minded Shop Technician (Sheetmetal Fabricator) to join our Operations team.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate company equipment, machines, and tools in a safe manner.
• Read cut sheets and verify material, measurement, and part type.
• Stack, label, and package parts and stage in the appropriate racking for pick up.
• Prepare ACM panels for construction by attaching extruded aluminum clips to the panels
• Inspect and repair small engine, power, and hand tools and test for quality, as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by putting away tools and equipment at the end of the day, sweep debris, correctly dispose of and store chemicals properly; notify a manager of any potential issues.
• Operate a forklift, if needed. (Maintain proper certification as required.)
• Ensure quality control through checks and balances and adhering to industry and company standards.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with sheetmetal fabrication handling.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and commitment to safety.
• Valid Class C driver's license and ability to meet Company insurance carrier standards.
