Shopify and Meta Ads Lead

A fast growing e-commerce company is seeking an experienced Shopify and Meta Ads Lead to take ownership of its direct to consumer Shopify channel. This is a hands on leadership role responsible for the website, marketing strategy, conversion performance, merchandising, and overall channel growth.

The Shopify and Meta Ads Lead will manage the website day to day while driving growth through Meta Ads, email, Google Ads, conversion optimization, SEO, and ongoing testing. Outside partners currently support several marketing functions, and this individual will be responsible for managing those relationships, evaluating performance, and determining when work should remain outsourced or be brought in house.

The ideal candidate has personally managed Meta campaigns and has proven experience growing a Shopify based DTC business. This person should understand how paid media, website experience, conversion rate optimization, email, merchandising, and profitability work together to drive sustainable e-commerce growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the Shopify website and overall channel performance

• Manage the website day to day and continuously implement improvements and updates

• Lead website design changes and direct internal or external resources as needed

• Improve conversion rates through ongoing testing and optimization

• Run A/B tests across offers, pricing, free shipping thresholds, landing pages, and checkout upsells

• Own Meta Ads strategy and work directly with external Meta partners

• Oversee email and Google Ads strategy, targets, and outside agency performance

• Evaluate agency relationships and make decisions about replacing partners or bringing work in house

• Develop and maintain a strong creative pipeline for paid marketing

• Merchandise a large and highly seasonal product catalog

• Develop and improve SEO strategy, including visibility within AI search

• Monitor revenue, profitability, conversion, advertising performance, and other key channel metrics

• Build and maintain clear performance reporting

• Track changes to the website and marketing strategy and connect them to performance results

• Work closely with internal development and listing teams

• Use AI tools effectively to improve marketing, analysis, and day to day execution

Qualifications:

• Strong hands on Meta Ads experience required

• Proven experience growing a direct to consumer Shopify business required

• Strong understanding of paid social, conversion optimization, and Klaviyo email marketing

• Comfortable working directly within Shopify admin

• Basic Shopify theme and CSS editing skills

• Strong eye for website design and customer experience

• Experience managing and evaluating outside marketing agencies

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to build reporting and evaluate both revenue and profitability

• Experience managing a large, seasonal e-commerce catalog strongly preferred

• Comfortable working with hundreds of styles and a large number of active SKUs

• Strong understanding of SEO and e-commerce marketing

• Experience using AI tools as part of day to day work

• Strong ownership, judgment, and ability to make decisions independently

• Must be comfortable working onsite in Midtown, NYC, 5 days per week

Salary: $125,000 to $175,000/year
