Short Order Cook and Pizza Maker

We are seeking a dependable and energetic culinary professional to prepare made-to-order meals and pizzas in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare short order menu items promptly and accurately according to established recipes and guest requests
• Make pizzas from start to finish, including dough handling, topping, baking, and quality control
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and prep tools
• Monitor cooking times and product quality to ensure consistent presentation and taste
• Keep workstations, equipment, and common kitchen areas clean, sanitized, and organized
• Assist with stocking, rotating, and labeling ingredients to maintain freshness and reduce waste
• Communicate effectively with team members to support smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times
• Support additional kitchen tasks as needed to help ensure efficient service

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a short order kitchen, pizzeria, or similar food service environment preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and safe food handling practices
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive kitchen tasks
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak service hours as needed
