The Opportunity

• Dates: ASAP–EOSY

• Schedule: Part-time and full-time availabilities will be considered

• Caseload Details: K-12th grade caseloads available

What You’ll Do

• Interpret classroom instruction and school activities for DHH students.

• Facilitate communication with teachers, staff and peers.

• Collaborate with school teams while maintaining confidentiality and professional interpreting practices.

What You’ll Need

• ISBE educational interpreting approval with an EIPA score of 3.5+, or provisional approval with a score of 3.0–3.4

• Appropriate Illinois approval/licensure for school-based interpreting

• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship

• School experience preferred; new graduates with appropriate credentials may be considered
