Sit-Down Forklift Operator (Double Pallet/Double Fork)

Connect Staffing is hiring an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a beverage manufacturing facility in San Bernardino, CA. This is a temp-to-hire evening position paying $19.00/hr, Monday-Friday. In this role, you will operate a sit-down forklift with double-pallet attachments to load and unload trucks and transport raw materials to production lines. This position offers overtime of up to 2 hours per shift and union benefits after 90 days.

Pay: $19.00/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM; OT up to 4 hours per shift as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift with double-pallet attachments to move raw materials throughout a beverage manufacturing facility.
• Use a forklift-mounted VMU (vehicle-mounted unit) to complete warehouse tasks within the SAP system.
• Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and follow propane tank safety protocols.
• Stage and organize raw materials and finished goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Manually handle items weighing up to 50 lbs as needed during loading and staging tasks.

• 6+ months of recent sit-down forklift experience

• Basic familiarity with warehouse management systems (such as SAP).
• Experience using forklift-mounted terminals (VMU) such as double clamp or double fork attachments.
• Experience operating propane-powered forklifts in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Previous work in a beverage, food, or consumer goods production facility.
• Familiarity with SAP warehouse modules or similar WMS platforms.
• Experience performing pre-shift equipment inspections and completing shift logs.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions, pallet maps, or production schedules.
