Site Blaster

Luck Stone is seeking an experienced, safety-focused Site Blaster to support blasting operations at one or more quarry locations. Working closely with the Site Foreman and corporate blasting crew, the Site Blaster will help execute safe, effective blasting activities while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

This position is also responsible for documenting blast results and helping minimize the impact of blasting on surrounding neighbors and communities without compromising operational effectiveness.

Essential Functions:

Blasting Operations and Compliance - 70%

• Coordinate daily blasting activities with the Site Foreman and corporate blasting crew.
• Help plan and execute safe, efficient blasting operations.
• Ensure all blasting activities comply with applicable company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety throughout every stage of the blasting process.

Data Collection and Reporting - 20%

• Collect and document blast-related data.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports of blasting activities and results.
• Maintain required records in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

Community Impact - 10%

• Monitor and help minimize the effects of blasting on quarry neighbors and surrounding communities.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Previous experience with blasting operations.

DMME Blaster Certification or DMME Foreman Certification, or the ability to obtain certification.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
