Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as a Site Reliability Engineer I. This role is crucial for improving the reliability, availability, performance, and operational effectiveness of our Developer Experience Platform (DevEx). You will work under general direction to resolve complex platform-support issues, enhance service-management practices, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver stable, secure, and resilient developer services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with major-incident management, blameless post-incident reviews, root-cause analysis, corrective-action tracking, and executive communications.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code, configuration management, automated testing, release governance, and deployment-risk reduction.
• Understanding of capacity planning, performance engineering, availability management, disaster recovery, resilience testing, and business-continuity principles.
• Working knowledge of security, access management, vulnerability remediation, audit evidence, regulatory controls, and secure operational practices.
• Experience using service-management platforms such as ServiceNow or equivalent tools for workflow, reporting, asset/configuration data, and service measurement.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps CI/CD configuration and processes; Jenkins and Ansible experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, or comparable data-visualization platforms, supported by experience communicating complex information through effective data storytelling.
• Strong Oracle/SQL or comparable query-language skills for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and reporting.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Identify recurring toil and implement automation to improve reliability, mean time to detect, mean time to restore, and support efficiency.
• Support end users and resolve complex technical issues through established incident, request, escalation, and service-level processes.
• Collaborate across engineering, operations, security, service management, and business teams to build trusted relationships.
