Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY(Remote). The ideal candidate will build and maintain reliable, scalable infrastructure through automation and cloud technologies.

Rate Range: $53/Hour to $56/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Site Reliability Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure or OpenStack environments.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Terraform and Ansible.

• Manage and support Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps to improve deployment efficiency.

• Monitor system performance and reliability using Grafana and Prometheus, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system availability, security, automation, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes for infrastructure automation and container orchestration.

• Proven expertise in Azure or OpenStack cloud environments, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
