In support of the Corporate Safety Director and theProject Superintendent implements manages and monitors field safety programs policies and procedures that meet OSHA company project and other applicable requirements. Evaluates the sites procedures facilities and equipment by conducting inspections to identify unsafe conditions and to implement safeguards and solutions. Ensures the site company with all current safety regulations and that all employees are aware of safety requirements and are prepared to follow safety procedures. Exemplary communication skills - oral written and presentation. Highly developed interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills. Strong project management and time management skills. Knowledge of construction industries operations and best practices. QualificationsBachelor or Associate degree in Safety Management or related field preferred but not required. Minimum of 3 years of construction site safety experience is required. Must have general knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards.Travel RequirementsThis position will require relocation to an API Construction job site in Idaho Falls Idaho. Project durations typically last from 8 to 24 months upon completion of a project Site Safety Coordinator will be relocated to another API Construction job site location TBD.
