    Ski/Snowboard Instructor

    The Ski and Snowboard School Instructor will provide instruction to students of all ages and various ability levels in alpine skiing and/or snowboarding techniques, skills, and safety protocols, in a safe, professional, and fun manner consistent with the school's progression.

    This is a seasonal position from 12/05/2026 to 04/04/2027. Dates are subject to change based on the availability of the applicant and needs of the business.     Job Posting Deadline: Hiring occurs on a rolling basis. This position will remain open until filled.

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Teach students of all ages and various ability levels..
    • Plan, organize, and implement ability-appropriate lessons.
    • Promote and emphasize safety in all classes.
    • Maintain a positive attitude and encourage further learning by teaching high-quality lessons.
    • Work as a team to assist with set-up, take-down, and maintenance of facilities on a daily basis.
    • Assists with daily operations, including running the magic carpet when needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • This is a physical position. The ability to lift 50 pounds and remain on your feet in skiing/snowboarding equipment for long periods of time is required.
    • Effective oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in and adapt to rapidly changing environmental, social, and physical conditions.

    Required Equipment

    • Skis and/or a snowboard, boots, and bindings.
    • Black pants appropriate for winter activities.
    • Professional under layers appropriate for a wide range of temperatures.
    • A helmet that is appropriate for skiing/snowboarding.
    • A uniform jacket for outdoor use will be provided.

    Working Environment/Physical Activities:

    Ninety percent of the workday is spent outside on a ski slope or riding a chair lift. Employees must be able to focus on multiple things at once, including changing terrain, weather, and guests, and should place the safety of guests in the forefront of their attention. Employees may occasionally be asked to assist a guest with equipment or a guest who has fallen down. Employees must be constantly engaged in customer conversation and are expected to provide exemplary customer service even when not actively teaching a lesson.
