Schedule: Evening shift, typically 4:30PM-11PM (varies depending on ski volume) Status: Part-Time, SeasonalAs a part-time Ski Tuner, you'll join our evening crew to help deliver high-quality overnight ski tunes. This role is a great fit for those who have some ski tuning experience or hands-on mechanical ability and want to be a part of a supportive shop environment during the winter season.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect skis for damage and tuning needs; flag safety concerns Sharpen edges using proper tuning tools Repair bases ranging from minor scratches to core shots and compressions Grind bases flat and apply structure as appropriate for snow conditions Wax skis for performance and longevity Check bindings for safe function and accurate DIN settings Maintain tuning tools and machinery Keep an organized workspace and assist with general upkeep Support the team and communicate clearly with coworkers and, when needed, customersQualificationsSki tuning experience preferred, but willing to train the right mechanically inclined candidate Basic understanding of ski components and snow performance Physically able to stand and lift skis for extended periods Comfortable working evenings Team-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work independently
