<\/p>
As an Inspector I<\/b>, you’ll be on active construction sites supporting roadway, bridge, rail, and utility projects. You will work directly with experienced engineers and construction managers to track progress, document quality, and monitor field conditions. This is an opportunity to build career -ready skills while helping to ensure that critical infrastructure is delivered safely, on time, and to standard.

This program is ideal for veterans with engineering, technical, or construction backgrounds who are looking to grow into careers in civil engineering, project inspection, or public infrastructure.

Observe and document daily construction activities on -site
<\/p><\/li>
Communicate project progress and issues to the Construction Project Manager or Construction Technical Manager
<\/p><\/li>
Measure and calculate quantities of installed materials
<\/p><\/li>
Prepare daily reports, field books, and documentation to meet agency requirements
<\/p><\/li>
Interpret site plans, specifications, and schedules to verify field compliance
<\/p><\/li>
Support conflict resolution before issues escalate
<\/p><\/li>
Maintain safety standards and environmental compliance on the job site
<\/p><\/li>
Engage with contractors and stakeholders in a professional manner
<\/p><\/li>
Use construction instruments, tools, and software to support documentation and analysis
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
You are a service member preparing to transition from the military who:
<\/p>
Has served in a technical, engineering, or construction -related MOS, AFSC, or Rating
<\/p><\/li>
Wants to work in the field, not behind a desk
<\/p><\/li>
Is motivated to learn the ropes of civil construction and inspection
<\/p><\/li>
Has a strong eye for detail, is observant, and communicates well
<\/p><\/li>
Is dependable and takes initiative under pressure
<\/p><\/li>
Values mission alignment, fieldwork, and contributing to real -world impact
<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/span>
Must be active -duty military with SkillBridge eligibility
<\/p><\/li>
Within 180 days of separation at time of program start
<\/p><\/li>
High school diploma or equivalent
<\/p><\/li>
Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record
<\/p><\/li>
Ability to work outdoors in field conditions
<\/p><\/li>
Strong communication and problem -solving skills
<\/p><\/li>
Willingness to travel regionally if required
<\/p><\/li>
Ability to obtain industry certifications (training provided)
