Job Summary

Equinix is proud to support transitioning service members and military spouses through the Department of Defense SkillBridge program. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in a hybrid role that combines accounting expertise with program management to support the buildout of our xScale AI data centers-critical infrastructure powering the future of artificial intelligence and hyperscale computing.

This role is ideal for individuals with a background in finance, logistics, operations, or project management who are looking to apply their military-honed skills in a dynamic, global technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Accounting & Financial Oversight Support capital expenditure tracking, cost allocations, and financial reporting for large-scale infrastructure projects. Assist with monthly close processes and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.

• Program & Project Management Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables for xScale builds. Use project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Tableau) to monitor progress and report outcomes.

• Strategic Planning & Forecasting Contribute to multi-year financial models and scenario planning to support AI infrastructure growth. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Stakeholder Engagement Serve as a liaison between Finance, Real Estate, Operations, and Engineering teams. Participate in meetings and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders.

• Process Improvement Identify and implement improvements in financial and operational workflows. Support cost optimization initiatives and reporting enhancements.

Qualifications

Transitioning service member or military spouse with experience in: Finance, accounting, logistics, operations, or project management Budgeting, forecasting, or managing large-scale programs Strong analytical and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and project tools is a plus Eager to learn and contribute to mission-critical infrastructure projects
