WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

This position provides hands-on experience with manufacturing, construction-style assembly, tools, measurements, materials, and production processes.

Training may include:

• Reading blueprints, production drawings, and layouts
• Reading and using a tape measure
• Measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling materials
• Operating hand and power tools
• Building structural components
• Installing doors, windows, framing, and other components
• Working with wood, steel, sheet metal, drywall, plastics, and composite materials
• Using levels, squares, tape measures, and other measuring tools
• Performing quality inspections
• Building products and assemblies from start to finish

The goal is to develop practical skills that can help you become more valuable as your career progresses.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Manufacturing Assembler, you'll work with a production team to build walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, and other structural components and assemblies.

Daily responsibilities may include:

• Measure and cut materials to specifications
• Read blueprints, drawings, layouts, and work instructions
• Use hand tools and power tools safely
• Assemble structural components
• Install framing, doors, windows, panels, and other materials
• Use tape measures, levels, squares, and measurement tools
• Inspect completed work for quality
• Follow production specifications and safety procedures
• Maintain an organized work area
• Work with the production team to achieve daily manufacturing goals
