Actual earnings vary based on starting rate, assignment, skill, quality, productivity, attendance, hours worked, and applicable incentive-plan terms.WHAT YOU'LL DOFit, align, tack, weld, and fabricate steel tank components from blueprints and production requirements.Perform stick welding using 6011 and 7024 and MIG welding using applicable .045 and .051 wire, metal-core, and inner-shield processes.Operate plasma cutting equipment and use fabrication and measuring tools accurately.Own assigned work from fit-up through completion while meeting quality, safety, and productivity expectations.Inspect your work, solve routine fit-up and welding issues, and prevent defects, rework, scrap, and avoidable downtime.Communicate production barriers promptly and contribute to a safe, productive team environment.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORFour or more years of industrial, manufacturing, or production welding and fabrication experience preferred.Proficiency in required stick and MIG welding processes.Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, dimensions, decimals, and basic shop math.Ability to work independently with limited supervision and consistently meet production expectations.Strong commitment to safety, quality, attendance, accountability, and teamwork.Ability to pass Newberry practical weld and fabrication assessment.TOTAL REWARDSBase hourly wage plus production-based incentive opportunity.Historical yearly welder bonus opportunity of approximately 9% to 12%, subject to plan terms and company results.$250 quarterly perfect-attendance bonus opportunity, plus an additional $500 for full-year perfect attendance.Health benefits with Newberry paying 80% of the employee cost.Two weeks of vacation after the first year of employment.APPLY TODAYIf you are an experienced welder who wants your skill, quality, and production performance to create greater earning opportunity, apply today.
