Under the supervision of the Sleep Center Director and Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, this individual will be responsible for providing support for the daily operation of the clinical services. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, polished and professional and have previous experience in a medical discipline such as respiratory therapy or sleep disorder medicine. The Assistant will need skills essential for running a clinic, interacting directly with patients and caregivers and communicating care plans for sleep disorders.
Required: High School Diploma, with a strong scientific background,demonstrate clinical competence to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served in his/her assigned unit, demonstrate ability to communicate in a written and verbal fashion,basic computer and data entry skills andproven organizational skills.
Preferred: work and/or educational experience that promotes group/team working relationships, bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred and a familiarity with medical insurance regulations a plus.
