About the Role:
The Sleep Technologist plays a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with sleep disorders by conducting overnight and daytime sleep studies in a clinical setting. This position requires the technologist to operate specialized equipment to monitor and record physiological data such as brain activity, eye movement, muscle activity, heart rhythm, and breathing patterns. The Sleep Technologist collaborates closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate data collection and patient comfort throughout the testing process. They are responsible for preparing patients for studies, explaining procedures, and ensuring adherence to safety and privacy standards.
