We are a heavy civil contractor specializing in large site infrastructure, underground utilities and roadway construction throughout Central Florida. The technician ensures equipment is operating safely and efficiently and tracks all necessary repairs and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose and troubleshoot small engines and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on small engines and related equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records of inspections, repairs and maintenance performed.
• Operate hand tools, diagnostic equipment and specialized machinery for repairs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members and equipment operators regarding repairs and equipment conditions.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 2 years’ experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 pounds
• Knowledge of small engine repairs
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be able to repair power tools such as jumping jacks, saws, blowers, etc
• Ability to repair 2 cycle and 4 cycle engines
• Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
