As our Social Media Coordinator, Hospitality, you won't just manage accounts—you'll create content that drives real attention, real engagement, and real traffic.This role is heavily focused on our sports-driven concepts, including Victory Lap and Side Piece Pies—where game days aren't the side show, they are the show. From Texas Longhorn football Saturdays to March Madness to major golf weekends, you'll turn real-time energy into content people actually want to watch, share, and show up for.You don't just consume content—you study it. You know what performs, what flops, and why. You're constantly thinking about hooks, formats, and how to stop the scroll. You've likely created content on your own and understand what it takes to build an audience.At the same time, you're deeply plugged into sports culture. You know the moments that matter, how fans experience them, and how to translate that into content that hits.Who You AreYou're as obsessed with social media performance as you are with sportsYou understand what makes content work—hooks, pacing, watch time, and engagementYou've created content yourself and have a strong point of view on what performsYou don't just follow trends—you adapt them quickly and make them your ownYou instinctively think in content, especially during live momentsYou know how to film, edit, and package content for each platformYou enjoy engaging with people and building a community—not just postingYou're organized, but can pivot quickly when real-time moments happenYou have a strong GSD mentality and take ownership of your workWhat You'll DoOwn the Social Presence (Sports Concepts)Manage social media accounts for Victory Lap (Austin + Columbus) and Side Piece PiesBuild and execute content calendars in coordination with the Director of Social and hospitality marketing teamEnsure content is timely, relevant, and aligned with sports, events, and cultural momentsCreate Content That PerformsOwn the full content cycle: concepting, filming, editing, and publishingCapture high-performing short-form content across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platformsTurn live sports moments, game days, and in-venue energy into engaging content quicklyRegularly capture content on-site to stay close to the brand and guest experienceContinuously test formats, hooks, and creative approaches to improve performanceBe the Voice of the BrandEngage with followers through comments, DMs, reposts, and tagged contentBuild and maintain a strong, consistent brand voiceHighlight guest experiences through user-generated content and community interactionStay Ahead of TrendsMonitor platform updates, algorithm shifts, and emerging trendsAdapt trends into brand-relevant content quickly and thoughtfullyBring fresh ideas that keep accounts competitive and growingCollaborate & ExecuteWork closely with the Director of Social Media, hospitality marketing team, and on‑site teamsTranslate input from multiple stakeholders into cohesive, high-performing contentSupport content shoots, campaigns, and promotionsOtherAssist with other duties and special projects as assignedSome travel may be requiredSome night and weekend availability requiredRequirementsEducation & Experience1‑3 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketingExperience managing social media accounts for brands (hospitality experience strongly preferred)Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and short‑form video platformsExperience filming and editing content (CapCut, Adobe, or similar tools)A portfolio or examples of social media content you've created (personal or professional) is requiredBusiness SkillsCan‑do attitude with a strong GSD mentalityStrong time management and ability to balance planning with real‑time executionExcellent written communication and understanding of brand voiceStrong collaboration and communication skillsHighly organized but adaptable in fast‑paced environmentsDetail‑oriented with a strong eye for content qualityBonus Points IfYou have experience in sports, hospitality, or restaurant marketingYou actively create content and have a track record of producing high‑performing or viral postsYou have photography or videography skillsYou're deeply familiar with college sports culture (especially Texas Longhorns or Ohio State)BenefitsLV Collective offers a collaborative, fun, and flexible work environment inside its beautifully designed office located in Downtown Austin, Texas.
