Position Summary: Three Oaks Hospice is seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to support our growing marketing department. This part-time position offers hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, and brand communications across our family of hospice brands.

Essential Duties:

• Develop, schedule, and publish social media content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn via SocialPilot.
• Create compelling graphics, captions, and short-form video content that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Support the management of social media accounts across multiple hospice brands, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity.
• Collaborate with local teams to collect photos, patient stories, employee recognition highlights, and community engagement opportunities.
• Monitor social media engagement, including comments, messages, and interactions, and escalate inquiries as appropriate.
• Track social media performance metrics, including reach, engagement, follower growth, and content effectiveness on a monthly basis.
• Help maintain an organized library of digital assets, including photography, videos, and branded graphics.
• Ensure published content follows company brand standards, privacy guidelines, and applicable healthcare marketing policies.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field in the state of Texas.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Strong written communication, grammar, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
• Experience with Canva required.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro a plus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of creating & managing a social media content calendar.
• Creative mindset with a willingness to contribute new ideas and learn from feedback.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information and healthcare-related content.
• Previous internship, social media management, or content creation experience is a plus but not required.
