Working Title: Social Science Research Coordinator

Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position based on the Stanford campus, with a minimum of 3-4 days per week on site.
Budgeted Salary: The budgeted base salary range for this position is $30 to $40 per hour.

Position Summary: The Stanford Mind & Body Lab is recruiting for a Research Coordinator to support projects investigating the impact of people's mindsets on their psychological and physiological health.
The primary responsibilities of the research coordinator will be focussed on a randomised controlled trial examining the effect of a mindset-based intervention on adjustment to life beyond primary cancer treatment. The right person for this research coordinator role will take responsibility for day-to-day trial processes and maintenance of study materials. They will be a main point of contact for recruitment, be responsible for participant communication and organising compensation. They will also be involved in data organisation, supervising and training research assistants, quality-checking research data, processing blood samples, and ensuring ongoing adherence to protocol and IRB documentation. There will also be opportunities to gain research experience through other Lab projects. We are looking for someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented, communicates well with research participants and team members, is eager to learn, conscientious, and is passionate about using psychosocial interventions to support people living with chronic illness. The position is based within a collaborative and supportive team within the Department of Psychology on Stanford Campus. This position is well suited to someone seeking hands-on research experience prior to further graduate study.
