Primary Purpose:
Provide students with rigorous instruction in Social Studies aligned with state standards (TEKS) and early college expectations. Facilitate dual credit readiness and academic success through engaging lessons that prepare students for college-level coursework and civic engagement.

Assess student progress using formative and summative assessments.
Provide interventions and supports to meet academic needs and close achievement gaps.
Prepare students for EOC exams and support college entrance readiness.
Classroom Management:
Create a respectful, inclusive, and orderly classroom environment.
Use restorative practices and proactive behavior strategies.
Professionalism & Collaboration:
Work closely with college instructors, counselors, and instructional coaches.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about academic progress.
Participate in campus PLCs, professional development, and school events.
