Description:

2.0 FTE, Social Studies Teacher Openings at Sashabaw Middle School

Qualifications:

• Valid Secondary Michigan Teaching Certificate (Grades 6-12) with a Social Studies (RX) endorsement
• Social Studies (RX) Major
• Must meet Michigan Highly Qualified Teacher qualifications in subject area; MTTC test is preferred
• Willingness and ability to work cooperatively. Experience in alternative education is preferred
• Credential file documentation of successful attainment, excellent student teacher and/or teaching experiences
• Knowledge and interest in Process Writing teaching methods necessary
• Computer/Technology knowledge such as Microsoft Office, Internet, E-Mail, Google, Creation of web pages, etc.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable

Salary

Appropriate placement based on experience on the current Teacher's Master Agreement.
