Software Application Administrator

Rate $50/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Software Application Administrator to support enterprise application management, endpoint configuration, software deployment, and system maintenance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), Microsoft Intune, PowerShell scripting, and Windows operating system administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise endpoint management platforms and software deployment processes.
• Support Windows operating system upgrades, application installations, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain deployment task sequences for operating systems and software applications.
• Perform SCCM client installation, configuration, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Use Microsoft Intune and PowerShell to automate endpoint management and administrative tasks.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation, security updates, and endpoint compliance activities.
• Coordinate with Microsoft support and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Support software lifecycle management, including upgrades and end-of-life transitions.
• Monitor endpoint health, investigate deployment failures, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established IT operational procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM).
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Intune and enterprise endpoint administration.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and task sequence management.
• Experience with Windows OS upgrades, software deployment, patch management, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of endpoint security, vulnerability remediation, and compliance processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office application installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within established IT processes and operational guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 1E Nomad, Delivery Eligible to workimization, or Microsoft Connected Cache.
• Microsoft certifications in endpoint management or systems administration.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise IT environments.
