Responsibilities
- Analyze existing integration logic and legacy API implementations to identify modernization opportunities
- Translate business workflows and legacy API functionality into robust Spring-based services
- Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs to power next-generation customer support capabilities
- Collaborate closely with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and integration teams to deliver seamless modernization of services
- Support migration efforts that enable effective customer troubleshooting, repair, and support workflows
- Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and top-tier performance for all developed APIs
- Assist in integrating AI-enabled customer support and workflow automation solutions
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, testing, and deployment activities
- Develop technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to other teams
- Work effectively with both onshore and offshore development teams
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of software development experience
- Proficient in Java and Spring Boot framework
- Proven track record in developing RESTful APIs and working with web services
- Solid understanding of API design, integration patterns, and microservices architecture
- Experience using Git for source control
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Tibco BusinessWorks, Tibco EMS, or Tibco integration technologies
- Background in modernizing Tibco-based integrations
- Exposure to AI, conversational AI, Agentic AI, IVA, IVR, or customer support platforms
- Experience supporting call center or customer service applications
- Full-stack or UI development background
- Familiarity with cloud platforms
- Telecommunications industry experience
