$101.63 Position Summary: Software Engineer
- Supports all phases of the software development lifecycle as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Works on new and legacy military and commercial programs from requirements and design through development, integration, testing, and maintenance.
- Develops creative solutions to complex system and software integration challenges.
- Collaborates closely with Systems Engineers to design solutions that meet end-user and operational needs.
- Support software development lifecycle activities including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance.
- Support both military and commercial programs.
- Design and implement solutions for complex technical system and software integration problems.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineers to develop effective technical solutions.
- Participate in software integration and testing activities.
- Support maintenance of existing software systems.
- Travel occasionally for business-related purposes.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with C++ design paradigms on Linux, VxWorks, or other Real-Time Operating Systems.
- Experience developing, testing, and integrating real-time software applications written in C++.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python.
- Our client requires that candidates must have an active/current DoD Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL) to start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Experience with C, C#, Java, or related programming languages.
- Experience working in laboratory environments with physical hardware, test benches, or simulators.
- Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and existing code bases.
- Experience using Scrum and Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with DevSecOps pipeline implementation and utilization.
- Experience with static code analysis, automated builds, automated testing, CI/CD, and test-driven development.
- Hands-on experience with Git and GitLab.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with CUDA development for NVIDIA GPU acceleration.
