Pic the Gift is Hiring for a Software Developer – Junior. This is a new, full-time position that can be based in either our Creve Coeur or Wentzville locations.

About Us:
Pic The Gift is a fast-growing B2B print-on-demand fulfillment company specializing in personalized products. We're in the middle of an exciting transformation—moving from a legacy ERP to a modern, custom-built system. We're looking for a Software Developer - Junior to support our engineering team and help build scalable, modern applications. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, evolving tech environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting salary of $50,000 annually, depending on experience, plus opportunity for bonus

Requirements:

  • 6–12+ months of software development or technical support experience
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, APIs, and relational databases (MySQL/Postgres)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate professionally via Slack, email, and video
  • Basic SQL/reporting skills to investigate issues

Preferred (but not required):

  • Experience with Retool, Postman, GraphQL, AWS (EC2/S3), or DigitalOcean
  • Familiarity with Figma or workflow automation tools like n8n

Responsibilities:

  • Support development of internal applications alongside senior engineers
  • Test and troubleshoot applications to ensure quality and performance
  • Help resolve day-to-day technical issues related to order data and workflows
  • Maintain and enhance existing systems
  • Assist with reporting and data analysis using SQL or reporting tools
  • Other duties as assigned.

The environment utilizes Retool, n8n, and Cursor. The company is strategically focused on a significant transition, moving from a legacy ERP system to a custom-built ERP using Next.js , React, Postgres.
