Description

Freezing Point is the fastest growing frozen beverage company in the U.S. and the maker of Frazil, 100% Juice Frazil, Frazil Energy, and Café Tango! We are a growing, high-performance team in search of a Software Developer who is passionate about technology, loves to learn new things, and takes ownership of the products on which they work.

This is a highly collaborative, fully onsite role.

Salary range is $100,000-$120,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain software using established best practices for creating readable and maintainable code
Investigate, prototype, and implement solutions to complex system design challenges
Prioritize identifying and resolving bugs to ensure the best user experience
Collaborate with product managers and subject-matter experts to define roadmaps and anticipate technical roadblocks
Work closely with local and offshore engineering teams to ensure the highest level of code quality
Assist with other special projects and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:

At least 3 years of experience in Python (Django, Flask, or other frameworks) and REST APIs
Expert-level understanding of databases with an emphasis on SQL
Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
5+ years of professional experience developing applications in an Agile environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline

Preferred Qualifications & Competencies:

Understanding of software design principles and common design patterns
Experience building cloud-native solutions (AWS preferred)
Experience conducting in-depth code reviews
Experience working within complex or enterprise-level software environments

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

Fully onsite position in Salt Lake City, UT
Frequent use of computers and prolonged screen time
Regular communication with team members across multiple locations
May require occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines
