Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client's project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java-based frameworks, backend services, and user interface technologies.
  2. Develop RESTful APIs, web services, database queries, and application integrations while applying established design patterns and coding standards.
  3. Write and execute unit and API tests, troubleshoot defects, optimize application performance, and support release and deployment activities.
  4. Collaborate with client stakeholders and distributed teams to clarify requirements, recommend solutions, plan features, and maintain application quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

6 9 years of experience in Java application development, enterprise web applications, backend services, and full-stack development.

Technical Skills

Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Hibernate, SQL, Oracle, Git, Jenkins, Maven, RESTful APIs

Business / Domain Skills
  1. Experience supporting enterprise application development across business-critical web applications, including application design, feature enhancement, maintenance, and production support.
  2. Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting government programs.
  3. Experience supporting enterprise business workflows and data-driven applications, including translating stakeholder requirements into functional solutions, integrating user interfaces with backend services, and maintaining reliable business transactions.
  4. Experience collaborating with client stakeholders and distributed delivery teams to plan enhancements, validate business functionality, resolve application issues, maintain quality standards, and support controlled releases and continuous improvement.

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure and modern enterprise application deployment practices.
  2. Experience developing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, jQuery, and JSP, with strong database query-writing capabilities.
  3. Strong technical ownership, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to contribute independently in distributed Agile teams.
