The successful candidate will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Army Air Defense programs. Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following: Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications and software systems that implement logical and mathematical solutions that are aligned with program objectivesParticipate in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Scrum teams to develop and maintain software products across multiple software baselinesWork in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and collaborative team settings across all levels of the organizationPerform software development and upgrades in multiple programming languages/versions while minimizing changes to the operational behavior of tactical softwareSupport documentation creation and updates using Markdown and other collaboration toolsSupport testing activities including unit and functional testing, code coverage analysis, and static code analysis; contribute to continuous improvement of test effectiveness and automation Minimum Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in STEM field from an accredited college and at least 5 years of relevant experience; 3 Years relevant experience with Master's degree; 1 Year of relevant experience with PhD Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment dailyStrong object-oriented software development experience with Java and C++Proficiency in Linux-based development and runtime environments.
