Software Engineer

IDR is seeking a Software Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, Tennessee.
This role involves supporting transaction-heavy, event-driven applications, with a focus on full-stack development across various technologies. The company operates within a dynamic industry environment, providing software solutions that facilitate user transactions, data processing, and system modernization.

Position Overview for the Software Engineer:

• Support and enhance a suite of transaction-processing applications covering APIs, backend services, and frontend interfaces.
• Contribute to designing, developing, testing, and supporting full-stack solutions using modern technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing modernization efforts.
• Work in a hybrid setting, with part in-office and part remote flexibility, engaging in agile development practices.
• Gain experience across legacy and modern systems while developing technical and professional skills.

Requirements for the Software Engineer:

• 2-5 years of experience developing and supporting web applications, APIs, databases, and enterprise software solutions.
• Working knowledge of .NET, C#, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL Server with a desire to build expertise through hands-on experience.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices is preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, adapt to changing priorities, take ownership of assigned work, and continuously develop technical and professional skills.
