Full Stack Angular/Python Developer & Cloud Applications Engineer
The Full Stack Angular/Python Developer & Cloud Applications Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining business-critical applications and infrastructure that support 24/7 operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Architect and maintain highly available systems with redundancy, monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Design, develop, test, and support Angular-based web applications, Python services, APIs, and batch processing solutions.
- Build and operate cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Design and optimize database schemas and implement high-performance SQL solutions across SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora, and RDS environments.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while leading incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts.
- Execute software releases, system upgrades, performance testing, patching activities, and post-deployment validation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, infrastructure teams, QA, Information Security, and third-party vendors to deliver scalable technology solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical architectures and implementation plans.
- Support audit requests, regulatory reviews, risk assessments, and operational compliance initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on system reliability, performance, security, and scalability.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. 6-10 years of hands-on experience developing and supporting web applications and backend systems using Python and Angular. Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, system design, and application architecture. Proven experience working with relational databases including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Amazon Aurora, or Amazon RDS. Expertise in database schema design, indexing strategies, query optimization, and performance tuning. Experience supporting Linux-based environments, including log analysis and troubleshooting. Practical experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch. Familiarity with monitoring, observability, alerting, and production support processes. Experience with source control and DevOps tools including Azure DevOps, TFS, Git, or similar platforms. Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to participate in after-hours support activities when required.
Location: Midtown Manhattan, New York. Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office.
