Richard Childress Racing | Welcome, North Carolina | Full timeReports to the Director of Development and Innovation
Every Sunday a Cup race is decided by information. You build the software that moves that information: the pipelines that pull data off the car, out of the simulation, and in from the sanctioning body, and the internal apps our engineers open on a race weekend. The ideal candidate will have development experience, with a strong background in system architecture, and competency across the full stack.
You inherit a working set of applications, you own them, and you decide what gets built next. You report straight to the Director of Development and Innovation and you will have a direct line to the people setting the technical direction of the race team.
Prior work in NASCAR, IndyCar, Formula 1, or another professional motorsports organization.
RCR has created a Development and Innovation group to change how the race team uses data and software. The person in this seat builds the foundation that group runs on. If you want your code to show up in a race result, this is the job.
