Software Engineer - Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer for a contract position with a Leading Pharmacy Benefit Manager located in Minnesota. This is a 2+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $60.00 - $62.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining technology solutions. The role involves managing the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline for these solutions and collaborating with team members to achieve innovative, business-results-driven technology solutions in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain technology solutions and ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements
• Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites
• Use test driven development in an agile environment
• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline for technology solutions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with team members to achieve innovative, business-results driven technology solutions
• Consistently apply best practices and drive for continuous improvement
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies

Primary Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
• 5+ years of experience with application development or packaged software implementations
• Ability to speak up to address risk and opportunities
• Strong problem-solving and analysis skills
• Ability to transition abstract concepts into stable and supportable software solutions
• Ability to develop unbiased options and recommendations to technical problems and unbiased comparisons
• Strong traits of decisiveness and judgment
• Ability to drive innovation and be forward thinking
• Excellent documentation skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)
• Previous experience working in an Agile/Product Delivery model
• Previous experience in PBM / health care industry
• Understanding of security implications of domain
