What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain robust software systems that drive an AI-powered clinical auditing platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex healthcare workflows into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from scoping and architecture to testing and deployment.
• Rapidly iterate on product features based on user feedback and clinical requirements.
• Define and uphold engineering best practices as the team and product evolve.
• Work closely with integrated AI and machine learning components to enhance core product functionalities.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 6-10 years of experience as a software engineer, operating at a senior individual contributor level.
• Proven experience scaling systems in early-stage startups through significant growth phases.
• Strong system design skills with the ability to articulate tradeoffs and improve production backend systems.
• Proficient in coding, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable backend code and readiness for live coding challenges.
• Familiarity with AWS technologies (ECS, S3, RDS) and a generalist backend engineering approach.

Preferred

• Experience working on AI, NLP, or machine learning-integrated products.
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards, clinical documentation, or medical billing workflows.
• Background in building SaaS platforms with an emphasis on compliance, audit, or quality assurance use cases.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $125K to $260K, reflecting the candidate's experience and expertise. The company offers a collaborative hybrid work environment with opportunities for professional growth and impact in the healthcare sector.
