Pay Rate: $80.00 - $86.00per hr.

Our client is looking for a Technical Lead / Engineering Lead to drive delivery and technical execution across a digital origination platform supporting consumer banking applications.
This role combines hands-on development (55–60%) with technical leadership, coordination, and cross-team execution responsibilities. There is no direct people management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across a team of 7–8 engineers
• Own and drive execution of larger solution components beyond individual user stories
• Coordinate across dependency teams and stakeholders
• Identify and remove delivery blockers and technical gaps
• Support system design and architecture decisions
• Contribute to modernization and refactoring efforts
• Ensure alignment across engineering, infrastructure, and governance teams
• Provide hands-on development support as needed (55–60%)

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science & Seven (7) years of related experience
• Strong full-stack engineering background (.NET and React preferred)
• Experience leading technical delivery efforts
• Ability to manage cross-team dependencies and execution risks
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Preferred Skills

• AWS experience (strongly preferred due to modernization roadmap)
• Experience in cloud-native/containerized environments
• Banking or financial services background
• Experience driving technical debt reduction or system refactoring
