    Description

    Job Summary

    Support Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) activities for complex Modeling & Simulation (M&S) software. Collaborate with engineers, software developers, analysts, and subject matter experts to verify system performance, analyze results, prepare technical documentation, conduct risk assessments, and support testing activities to ensure simulation systems meet operational and quality requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) activities for Modeling & Simulation software.
    • Collaborate with engineers, developers, analysts, and subject matter experts.
    • Review test data and perform detailed analysis of results.
    • Prepare technical reports, VV&A plans, and documentation.
    • Assist in defining simulation requirements and acceptance criteria.
    • Conduct risk assessments and support accreditation activities.
    • Identify discrepancies, issues, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Support automated testing and validation processes.
    • Communicate technical findings with project teams and stakeholders.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain required DoD security clearance.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
    • Experience following technical procedures with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Willingness to learn Modeling & Simulation (M&S) and VV&A methodologies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience supporting Modeling & Simulation (M&S) projects.
    • Experience with automated testing.
    • Knowledge of C++, Python, HTML, scripting, or databases.
    • DoD experience is a plus.
