Position Overview:

We are looking for a Sales Account Executive who is passionate, self motivated, and business savvy, with a strong drive to exceed both professional and financial goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your Software services selling skills and drive business across the AEC sector, contractors, manufacturing companies, and industrial plants. You will collaborate with our best in class presales, customer success, and professional services teams to ensure your clients view you as a trusted advisor capable of delivering comprehensive solutions that extend well beyond software alone. In addition, youâ€ll work closely with senior sales leaders and engineering teams while developing the capabilities needed to grow into a full fledged territory manager.

What you\"ll do

• Build a pipeline of new accounts through outbound prospecting, referrals, LinkedIn and industry events
• \tOwn the full sales cycle: account research, discovery, solution scoping, proposal, negotiation and close
• \tLead discovery with engineering and business stakeholders to understand their workflows, priorities and budget
• \tWork with pre-sales and delivery teams in the US and India to shape solutions, estimates and statements of work
• \tDevelop and deliver presentations, proposals and RFP responses
• \tNegotiate commercial terms, master services agreements and statements of work, with support from leadership
• \tPartner with customer success to expand signed accounts into follow-on projects and new service lines
• \tCollaborate with technology and AEC partners to source and win business
• \tKeep activity, pipeline and forecast data accurate in CRM
• \tRepresent Neilsoft at trade shows, conferences and networking events

Education & Experience:

• 5+ years of direct sales experience selling software services/Solutions to mid-size and large enterprises (Manufacturing/Contractors/AEC/Industrial Plants)
• \tMeasurable track record in new business development and overachieving sales team targets.
• \tProven hunter mentality with a track record of sales success.
• \tStrong business acumen, and ability to have business conversations at all management levels.
• \tExcellent problem solving, negotiation, and closing skills.
• \tAbility to manage entire sales process from prospecting through closing.
• \tStrong verbal and written communication skills and CRM usage.
• \tExperience with multi-product/services selling is a plus.
• \tExperience selling within the Architecture, Engineering and Construction sector is a plus.
• \tBachelorâ€s degree or equivalent is a plus.

Travel

role is based in Michigan. Expect about 60% travel for client meetings, industry events and occasional training, mostly within the territory. Travel costs are reimbursed.
