Provide a short description of the Position:
Develop applications in the application modernization project in the Salesforce platform.

Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate:
Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following:

1. Provide guidance & assistance to various development teams during full software development life cycle (SDLC)
2. Collaborate with other Technical Architects to create and foster a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment for OMH applications.
3. Participate in business analysis and systems development lifecycle.
4. Use the Salesforce platfom to develop applications.
5. Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
6. Data manipulation, including manipulation of Protected Health Information data.
7. Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.
8. Use a source code repository GitLab for checking source code in and out, branching off new versions of the source code.
9. Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.
10. Code applications that access Protected Health Information.
11. Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
12. Participate in multi-agency technical meetings and work sessions.
13. Guide & advise various development teams on software design & architecture matters.
14. Provide assistance & advise on best practices for using GIT for code versioning & collaboration.
15. Coordinate service requests with various ITS Chief Operating Office personnel for releases and changes for the application.

What are the daily work hours?
8 1D2 hour work days with a half-hour unpaid lunch between the hours of 7:30 am and 6 pm. Monday Friday.

Position Job Title: Software Architect

Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.

Position Requested Qualifications (Per Attachment 7, Section 1.2.5)

• 84 Months Experience as an Architect on Salesforce platform.
• 84 Months Experience Designing and consuming custom REST and SOAP web services.
• 84 Months Experience Implementing secure connections using OAuth 2.0 flows, JWT, Named Credentials, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Any Salesforce Certified Architect certification.
• 36 Months Experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft, Informatica.
• 84 Months Experience with Salesforce Apex (Classes, Triggers, Controllers), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL.
• 84 Months Experience with Salesforce Flow Builder (Record-Triggered, Screen, Autolaunched), Validation Rules, Custom Objects, Security Model (OWDs, Sharing Rules, Profiles, Permission Sets).
• 60 Months Experience with Git/GitHub, VS Code, Salesforce CLI, SFDX, CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins), Scratch Orgs, Sandboxes.
• 24 Months Experience in integrating AI, prompt engineering, and unified data profiles into custom development.

Candidate will attend all New York State/OER and Agency mandated training programs, including Internal Controls, Prevention of Workplace Violence, Sexual Harassment Prevention, Information Security and In house sessions to acquaint the candidate with the OMH applications he/she will be supporting.

What type and/or manner, of knowledge transfer is requested during the Engagement?
During the term of this assignment, knowledge transfer from the consultant/project team to State employees will be mandated. The knowledge transfer plan will be a written plan with details determined by the state team lead in collaboration with the selected consulant according to the specific program needs.
