Solid Waste Special Equipment Operator

Drives or operates light to complex equipment such as roll-off trucks, light trucks, lawn equipment, and may operate smaller or less complex equipment as needed. Provides routine maintenance to all equipment and vehicles; performs less complex repairs such as changing tires, lubing, etc.; reports serious mechanical difficulties for repairs; adjusts equipment as needed for specialized operations. Maintains routine duty records of work such as mileage sheets.
