The operator will manage and maintain solids control systems, run centrifuges, and ensure optimal performance under extreme temperature conditions. - High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience operating solids control equipment, especially centrifuges.
- Ability to work long shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in hot and cold environments.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and personal protective equipment usage.
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (e.g., H2S, confined space).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Set up, operate, and monitor centrifuges and other solids control equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all equipment.
- Adjust process parameters to maintain optimal solids removal efficiency.
- Record operational data and generate daily performance reports.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with maintenance staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in harsh weather conditions.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Participate in shift handovers and communicate status updates effectively.
- Respond to emergency situations and implement corrective actions promptly.
