The Solution Architect will provide overall architecture leadership for the Consent & Access Enforcement platform and ensure alignment with client's approved target architecture, healthcare security standards, interoperability requirements, and enterprise data strategy. This role is accountable for end-to-end solution design, architecture governance, technology selection, and delivery oversight across consent management, policy management, and access enforcement domains. The Architect will act as the primary technical authority and liaison between business, architecture, security, data, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end solution architecture for Consent & Sensitivity Management implementation.
Translate conceptual architecture and BRD requirements into physical implementation architecture.
Define architecture patterns, integration standards, deployment models, and reference designs.
Lead architecture reviews and design governance forums.
Ensure alignment between Consent Registry, PRP, PDP, and PEP components.
Define cloud, API, event-driven, and data platform architecture.
Lead solution design for multi-system integrations including Epic, PTrax, REDCap, OnBase, HIMS, MIRUS, DFD+, and Transcend.
Establish architectural guardrails for performance, scalability, resiliency, availability, and maintainability.
Partner with Security and Compliance teams to ensure HIPAA, PHI protection, and healthcare regulatory compliance.
Support solution estimation, technical risk management, and implementation planning.
Provide architecture direction to engineering and implementation teams.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related discipline.
Experience
12+ years of enterprise architecture experience.
7+ years of healthcare platform architecture experience.
Experience designing large-scale healthcare interoperability and patient data platforms.
Strong experience with cloud-native architectures and microservices.
