STAND 8 is seeking a hands-on Solutions Architect to build an AI proof of concept for a major media and entertainment partner. The solution architecture is largely defined, and this role will focus on implementation: writing Python code, connecting approved enterprise systems, and turning financial agreements and spreadsheets into traceable, testable rules. You will work alongside a Rules Developer and business experts to deliver a functioning solution.

Responsibilities- Write and debug Python services for document intake, extraction, rule conversion, and validation.
- Build integrations that retrieve agreements, amendments, Excel models, and reference data from approved sources.
- Implement AI-assisted extraction of contract terms with structured outputs, confidence measures, and source citations.
- Develop core processing components for spreadsheet formulas, calculation dependencies, and contract-to-model reconciliation.
- Generate versioned rule packages and implement the technical handoff to the rules engine.
- Build evidence tracking and exception workflows for conflicting sources, missing information, and unsupported logic.
- Develop automated tests and historical replay routines to investigate calculation differences.
- Own technical execution through code reviews, integration troubleshooting, test results, and demonstrations of working software.
Required Experience- Strong, recent hands-on Python development experience delivering applications, services, or data-processing pipelines.
- Experience building and integrating solutions on Azure, including secure access to enterprise data and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with document processing, optical character recognition, or AI-assisted information extraction.
- Experience analyzing Excel formulas, financial calculations, or similarly complex business rules.
- Experience producing structured JSON outputs and integrating with rules engines or comparable platforms.
- Experience writing automated tests, reviewing code, and resolving integration issues in a fast-moving build effort.

Additional DetailsThe base range for this contract position is $90- $110 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
