Travel: On-site in Omaha once per quarter

Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Solutions Lead to lead software engineers while driving solution architecture, technical design, and application delivery. The role focuses on scalable cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, REST APIs, Kafka, and MongoDB.

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years leading and mentoring software engineering teams.

• Strong hands-on Java, Spring Boot, and AWS experience.

• REST APIs, Kafka, MongoDB, and event-driven architecture.

• Strong solution architecture and system design experience.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with application development through production support.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Preferred Skills

• MuleSoft / API-led integration.

• React or experience supporting front-end teams.

• Experience influencing architecture across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers across design, development, deployment, and production support.

• Design and develop scalable Java/Spring Boot applications on AWS.

• Build REST APIs and event-driven integrations using Kafka and MongoDB.

• Make architecture and technical design decisions.

• Ensure security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.

• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
