We are seeking a Sonographer II specializing in OB/GYN to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic in Birmingham, AL. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced sonographers and motivated new graduates looking to grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

 

Our clinic is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and focused on delivering exceptional patient care while partnering closely with physicians and the care team.


Schedule

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Position Summary

In this role, you will provide high-quality diagnostic sonographic imaging to support patient care, assisting physicians in evaluating and interpreting results. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive patient experience while maintaining clinical excellence.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in collaboration with physicians
  • Ensure accurate imaging, patient identification, and documentation
  • Assess image quality and confirm proper anatomy is captured
  • Deliver compassionate patient care while maintaining safety standards
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and quality control standards
  • Assist with training and mentoring new team members as needed

 

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Required:

  • RDMS (OB/GYN) certification
  • Graduate of an accredited sonography program
  • Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain)

Preferred:

  • RDCS (FE) certification (or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire)
  • Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine
