Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team at the Echo Cliffs location in Tuba City, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience performing general ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, and small-parts imaging.

This is a 13-week contract assignment offering a consistent four-day workweek and 10-hour shifts.

Position Details

• Start Date: November 2, 2026

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM

• Hours: 4×10-hour shifts

• Holiday Coverage: Required

• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and departmental standards.

• Conduct general ultrasound studies, including abdominal, obstetric, and small-parts examinations.

• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by physicians.

• Review patient history and relevant clinical information to ensure appropriate imaging procedures.

• Provide professional and compassionate patient care throughout examinations.

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow applicable safety, quality, and infection-control standards.

• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.

• Ensure ultrasound equipment is used properly and report equipment issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist.

• Experience performing general abdominal, OB, and small-parts ultrasound examinations.

• Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.

• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Willingness and ability to provide holiday coverage as required.
