Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Sonography program director, the Part-Time Sonography Lab Instructor provides hands-on clinical instruction to students in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. This role supports student learning by demonstrating imaging techniques, supervising lab practice, and reinforcing classroom concepts in a controlled lab environment. Responsibilities include maintaining lab equipment and supplies, ensuring adherence to safety and patient care standards, evaluating student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The instructor collaborates with faculty to support curriculum objectives while fostering a professional, supportive, and engaging learning atmosphere.

Typical Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience: Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred; Minimum of 3 years of clinical sonography experience
Licenses and Certificates: Registered Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent certification required)
Specialized Training: Prior teaching or training experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Passion for teaching and mentoring students
Strong communication and organizational skills
