Position Summary
We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Clothing Sorters. This role is responsible for sorting and classifying clothing and textile items according to established quality, category, and destination standards. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, can maintain focus in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy and productivity.
Essential Responsibilities
- Sort clothing and textile items by category, quality, type, size, and destination.
- Inspect items for defects, damage, stains, or other quality concerns.
- Separate and identify items that do not meet company standards.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy goals throughout the workday.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow company safety policies and operational procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse and production support tasks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse, production, retail, garment handling, or sorting environments.
- Familiarity with clothing brands and garment quality standards.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Experience meeting productivity or performance goals.
