Sorter

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Shift: 2nd shift 2:30pm-11pm

Job Summary: Primarily responsible for inspection, separating and stacking materials such as pallets, frames and lids.

Essential Functions:

- Inspect and separate material according to Quality standards.

- Distinguishes different material and understands inventory and inventory control.

- Responds to requests for assistance in a timely manner.

- Ensure materials is logged appropriately on the sorting sheet.

- Notifies supervisor of any quality or safety issues.

- Maintains effective interpersonal working relationships and functions as a team member.

- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies and promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Working conditions:

- Occasional outside work required

- Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds or more.

Requirements:

- High school or GED required

- Knowledge of basic hand tools
