Pay rate: $35/hr to $40/hr on W2 All inclusive

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing Purchase Orders (POs) in Oracle, coordinating with suppliers, supporting production planning, and ensuring timely procurement activities. Strong organizational, communication, and Oracle ERP skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in Oracle.
  • Review and validate Purchase Requisitions (PORs) before PO creation.
  • Verify supplier setup and availability within Oracle.
  • Navigate Oracle to:
    • Review PO history.
    • Monitor inventory and supply/demand data (view-only).
    • Provide accurate order status updates to production planners.
  • Prepare PO and part status reports in Excel to support production meetings.
  • Manage Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs), including:
    • Processing releases.
    • Expediting orders.
    • Following up on supplier payments.
  • Coordinate farm-out and repair activities with multiple suppliers.
  • Communicate with suppliers via email and Microsoft Teams to:
    • Request Quotes (RFQs).
    • Expedite material deliveries.
    • Clarify procurement requirements.
  • Maintain procurement documentation, PO attachments, and records to ensure audit compliance.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience creating and managing Purchase Orders in Oracle ERP.
  • Knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
  • Experience reviewing purchase requisitions and supplier information.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and tracking.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple suppliers and prioritize competing tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs).
  • Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or production planning.
  • Experience supporting supplier management, expediting, and repair/farm-out activities.
  • Familiarity with RFQ processes and supplier coordination.
